Day 25 - Wed, Oct 30 - Fort Hancock to Sierra Blanca (Texas)

Today's ride was pretty uneventful. I rode on a well-maintained farm road, allowing for a nice smooth ride.


It also allowed me to take a bit of a closer look at my surroundings. In particular what types of farms there are - cotton, alfalfa beans, cattle, goats, and sheep.


Water certainly does not go to waste here, it is only used where required, and the remaining land is left dry. This creates a wonderful visual contrast with the lush green growth from the crops, the desert sands, and the natural vegetation of the desert.
