Day 51 - Mon, Nov 25 - Morganza to Baton Rouge (Louisiana)

The road from Morganza was pretty boring. What I did find interesting though, is the Audubon Bridge in a place called New Roads. The planners/engineers clearly kept cyclists in mind when they designed this bridge. The gradient is nice and easy, and it has a separate wide cycling lane. We, cyclists, wish this for all roads :-)
Arriving in Baton Rouge was exciting. I got there just before sunset, so could watch the sun setting across the river. That inspired me to walk around and take some photos of things I found interesting in the city.
